Eden Hazard! Is he coming home?

So what do you reckon?

It's more than likely agents doing what agents do.

In my opinion players of his quality do not suddenly lose the ability to do what they do.

But ?

What condition is his body in- any long term injury problems?

A fee + his wage structure?

Would you take him over Timo ?

Come on you blues!

Consistent that is for sure.

The combination of fee to Real & the amount Hazard would need to slice his wages (at least by 75%) to make this productive is too much, and that's before even talking about whether it's the right move for the team.

I don't feel too sorry for Hazard, mainly cos he's too chill to care either way , but it just goes to show the grass isn't always greener & "dreams" can be misleading.

I could see Roman having a pop at this btw. He's got a sentimental touch to him.

I can't knock him for following his dreams.

He left Chelsea on good terms the 150m was a touch

Why would you want him back?

I don't watch much la liga these days but apparently he's been pretty average there and he's struggled for injuries, a situation that's unlikely to improve in the EPL as he goes through his 30's.

Chelsea had his best years and sold him at exactly the right time. The club got it spot on, why go back on that?

Really not sure about this. Formerly a great player, arguably our best ever. And selling him for £150 million must go down as one of the greatest player sales of all time, especially for a player who would have left on a free only 12 months later anyway.

But sadly he's been that poor at Real Madrid over the last two years that you'd have to question bringing him back unless we can buy him back for peanuts which Real surely wouldn't want to do in an attempt to save some face.

Also there's the wages issue as he'd have to be willing to play on much reduced wages. In defence of the idea of bringing him back our current wide players are extremely hit or miss or too often injured. Ie Pulisic who at one point looked like Hazards heir apparent.

I'd need some serious convincing to come round to this being a good idea though. Just look at Bale returning to Spurs. Probably about what we could expect from Hazard coming back here I suspect. Maybe not even that.

There's not a good reason really, one that isn't sentiment or hope driven at least.

Feeble attempt by RM to find the funds to procure Mbappe by hawking him to somebody desperate and arrogant enough to believe they can get a tune out of him. Lovely player but currently sitting on the 'oops' shelf at the player market.

I've always maintained that he didn't really want to go to RM anyway...but felt he should

I really don't know if we want him back now...it kind of would be nice in a way
