For a player like Ronaldo you make sacrifices. He hardly at the hardest workrate last time at United but they Rooney, Tevez, Park etc working like dogs to compensate.

Saying he is a cancer is utterly ridiculous and no-one is going to take you seriously. Now if you want to discuss how you belive his presence on the pitch makes us weaker then people might listen. But calling a man who is probably the most dedicated footballer to ever grace the planet a cancer will be met with the derision it deserves.

Ronaldo getting the grief but lets be honest he's been their main man without him Ole would be gone already.

Hmm. I think that there is a strong argument that we are a better team with Cavani leading the line. We certainly press the opposition better.

Very probably but Ronaldo has still been your main man this season, so he personally cannot be blamed. If anything it's the manager/board who sanctioned a signing which didn't fit.

That said, Ronaldo has done what Ronaldo does. He's never going to press from the front like Cavani does and we knew what we were getting with him.

People totally disregard this point. Robbie Savage just kept repeating that he’s our top scorer yesterday whenever anyone questioned signing him, as if that completely closed down the issue.

Utd's squad is ridiculously top heavy. Add in that you're signing a 36 year old then asking the team to press when they dont normally, because you have a clueless manager, and it's a recipe for disaster.
