Time to let Fergie go

If twitter is to be believed Fergie was at the training ground today backing Ole, if that's the case then someone needs to tell him straight to stop doing that and to take a massive step back.

Liverpool had same with Shankley, someone at the club had to have a word with him on request of Bob Paisley to stay away as he was unintentionally undermining Bob.

Fergie is a legend, but his influence over the club is too big, he needs to cut all ties (bar going to games) for the sake of the club.

Does he actually have any role at the club? Ambassadorial or something?

You'd obviously want your legends watching your games and all the rest but if he doesn't have some sort of official role at the club, I don't see what help he'd be having at the side of a training ground.
