Opportunity knocks

So many times RLC and CHO have ushered in false dawns with a strong one off display only to slide back into mediocrity in following games. This is the reason why they have failed to establish themselves as regular first team candidates under all Chelsea managers.

What an opportunity they have today to prove they can be depended on regularly. Agst a poor Newcastle team there can be no excuses for not stepping up.

PS Kai this also applies to you. Step up man and show us you are worth the fee.

TBF, every time CHO has been given a chance I don't think he's let anyone down and always looks more of a threat than the big signings bought in that usually get the nod in front of him!

CHO I won't hold my breath. If he kicks on to another level cool, if not that's also cool - he's a decent, all be it expansive, versatile squad player. I will say he does deserve a run of consecutive games.

RLC I'm not sure about. Started well this year but I can't see him making it here tbh. Same wages as CHO except he doesn't have the advantage of versatility to give him a bit of leeway.

Havertz is just Havertz. Awesome player who's lazy af & won't change.

Great performance for me. Some strange decisions in the final third but a great second half

It was decent. Nothing great. Was a ghost first half. Improved and more involved 2nd half but a fortuitous header from a floated cross to a fantastic strike by James isn’t really something I’m ready to give him credit for.

He should’ve been more direct and challenging throughout the match but shied away often. Still, he’s being given a chance. Hopefully he comes good.

Greatness, apparently.

Way beyond your comprehension to understand the nuances/intricacies of Hudson-Odoi' ability and greatness.
Don't worry you're just one of many on here, that are grossly uninformed on the subject.

Nah, done it a few times. The times when he really went after it. Let’s be clear, i want him to succeed. Just don’t think he’s shown anything so far that he will live up to his early potential.
