You know West Ham are getting better when we start bashing them.

They used to be insignificant, a bit like the really patronising way Arsenal used to view us - I remember reading a quote from Henry saying "It wasn't as bigger game for us as it was Spurs. We had bigger rivals". That's a killer. Now I'd genuinely get pleasure from beating West Ham. Before now I'd have viewed it like any other three points. I hate the fact that they're a little bit good now. I'm waiting for their form to dip but it bloody won't.

I don’t resent it, it’s good they are better, makes the games more interesting.

Under Poch, playing West Ham was like playing Palace or Fulham - a potential banana skin but nothing else. Now they can play a bit again the games have more edge.

I fully suspect though that this is the pinnacle of their purple patch - I can’t see them going anywhere from here but down again. Rice will go to a Champions league side in the summer, Antonio ( probably my favourite non Spurs player ) will be a year older and Soucek will likely be on the radar of a lot of bigger clubs aswell.

5000 days is a disgrace considering how many semi finals and finals we have been in
