Bit of a shiiiiithouse England squad tbf from Southgate, could've used these games to look at a few players like Gallagher and Smith-Rowe etc.

It's Albania and San Marino ffs.

Greenwood is the biggest exclusion, he’s in good form.

Wouldn’t say he’s in good form tbf. One goal since August and not exactly justifying his place in the United side right now. If we go back to 4 at the back I’d give Sancho some time where Greenwood is playing and finally give Sancho a start this season there.

Sancho is in the unenviable position of being given the cold shoulder by agent ole and southgate at the same time. It's been crystal clear for 18months that southgate doesn't rate sancho as he doesn't defend well enough.

If he played well then he’d be in, but he’s been poor. Hardly ole or southgate fault for not pocking a player in poor form.

thats ok mate.

Sancho is a strange one. He def has talent but no doubt the Ronaldo signing and Mason form has pushed him out.

I also wonder if this league is too fast/physical for him.

With about a 12 months until the world cup, I doubt we’ll be seeing any more youngsters unless there’s injuries.

I reckon Southgate probably already knows about 20 of his squad for it already, and will need to use this time to get them prepared for the tournament.
