Ginger...... FWIW......"here" is Ireland for which I take it to mean ROI

I've been following this thread with interest without having anything worthwhile to contribute........

I do know (from family members) that infections/numbers in ICU there have gone through the roof despite a high number of vaccinations. Base population is circa 5m......similar to Scotland

I've no idea about mask wearing and following standard COVID protocols there to make any observations

Ah right. 94% of adults although that doesn’t say whether it’s single or double jabbed.

Just popped up on Sky News that the surge in Europe states we must vaccinate everyone here. Why?

It’s double jabbed. And adults in this context are aged over 12.

We are about 200k ‘adults’ short of a 100% fully vaccinated population.

As of Nov 18th
3,605,288 1st jab
3,536,838 2nd jab

Breakdown of vaccines
Pfizer - 5,366,707
AZ - 1,189,882
Moderna - 570,442
Janssen - 236,277

Not only have 94% of adults been double jabbed but 90% of those have been double jabbed by Pfizer and AZ which is meant to be more effective against the delta variant.

The vaccine rollout in Ireland gives a pretty clear picture as to how they’ve failed to halt the spread of the virus. But instead the 5% who haven’t been jabbed are taking the blame for the spread, from the same guy who said 70% of the population being jabbed would give us herd immunity.

They’re just making it up as they go along.
