Premier League & NBC agree new £2bn deal

The Premier League has announced a new £2bn deal with American broadcaster NBC Universal to show live games for the next six years.

The deal dwarfs the £740m NBC agreed in 2015 for six years.

sounds massive, though works out to about 10mil extra per club a season so it might just about cover some wage increases

It mystifies me why NBC don't give more air time to Rebecca Lowe. One of the best football presenters of all time IMO. Instead, Robbie Mustoe and Robbie Earl's mugs after NBC were told initially they were top former soccer players who had hung up their cleats able to make shut-outs top of the box in a double team.

Will be good to have them all back on NBCSN, long as they don’t start that silly gold pass nonsense again.

Peacock TV covers it all pretty much now. Our game is on it tomorrow.

It’s Comcast’s subscription On Demand service. Comcast own Sky so they’ve made Peacock free for Sky customers.
