MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head
Brighton have won eight of their past nine league games against Leeds, including victories in both meetings last season.
The Yorkshire club have lost their five most recent matches away to Brighton, failing to score in any of those defeats.
Their last win away to the Seagulls was a 3-0 victory in League One on 21 November 2009.

Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton won four of their opening five league games this season but are without a victory in their subsequent seven attempts (D5, L2).
It is the Seagulls' longest winless run in the league since a nine-match streak last season which ended with a 1-0 victory at Leeds on 16 January.
Brighton have conceded nine goals in their past four fixtures and faced 23 shots on target - compared to five goals conceded and 21 shots on target faced in their opening eight league games.
Neal Maupay has scored four goals in six league appearances against Leeds, his highest total against an English club.

Leeds United
Leeds have dropped 10 points from winning positions in the top flight this season, a total exceeded only by Burnley and Newcastle.
The Whites are one of two teams - along with Chelsea - who have yet to concede a Premier League goal from outside the penalty area.
The Yorkshire club could lose back-to-back top-flight matches for the first time in 2021-22.
They have fielded five teenagers in the Premier League this season, two more than any other club.
Marcelo Bielsa has won 65% of his Premier League games against English managers (13 of 20), compared to 23% of fixtures versus those from other countries (seven of 30).

There you go, Brighton sitting in 9th position after getting off to a good start but have tailed off a bit, We on the other hand had a pretty tough start but I believe a few lessons were learned at Spurs and with a few players back I think we can do this Scoreline 0-3 Raph, DJ and Phillips

On the positive, we're not Newcastle.
On the negative, we don't have the financial clout
of Newcastle to buy our way out of relegation.

Squeaky bum time for the rest of the season.

And before Lowlife comes on and bangs on about people agreeing with him by saying it was poor tonight, we have earned the right to criticise, you feckin haven't.

Decent point in the end. I thought Struijk made a difference

I hope that is the last time Struijk is benched. Too good not to be in that starting line up.

That is 3 games now Potter has tactically outdone Bielsa.... In my opinion and incredibly Brighton fans booed him at the end.

Even Beckford said if Brighton had a proper centre forward they would have beaten us 5 or 6.

I think Bielsa over thinks things and God knows why he preferred Firpo to Struiyk and playing KP at the back against Spurs may have worked but not today and KP didnt look happy and we missed his influence in the middle. Hopefully he isn't injured and can return against Palace in his preferred position.

Also I don't think 3 wingers works and iether James or Harrison have to make way and Raphina can get more of the ball because tonight was his quietest game.

I love MB. But the idea that he and he alone sits atop the managerial God pedestal is daft. He is amazing. But the Prem has several managers who are clearly better. And others (Potter) who have outsmarted him. MB's just one of many very bright minds in this league.

Sorry how does that work, think I'm just ahead of you lot

It wasn't a great game. Do I think that means Potter outthought Bielsa? Not a chance. It's not Bielsa's fault players can't string two simple passes together.

Meslier MOTM. Think Roberts demonstrated some of what he can bring to the table.

Firpo is fooking awful.

No, he's a good player. Freezing evening with a buffeting wind at the back-end of a British November, probably not a match he was likely to be at his best ( I know I wouldn't ) . I think he's a likable, capable and crafty player who'll be a real asset to the squad when fully fit and acclimatised.

He usually does, unfortunately scoring isn't one of them.
