Our only chance of winning something gone because we can't arrange a time to reschedule. So Spursy.

I actually don't think it's our only chance. Europa league teams would have probably knocked us out...People forget larger teams join our knockout.

One day we will be more determined as a club.

I was being jovial of course but it is one of our best chances to win a trophy. We are pretty much the best team in the competition and that includes the ones dropping in from Europa. I guess on their day Leicester would be a threat but they're having a poor season. They will probably now win another trophy where we don't.

Are we though? Richest team yes...Best team not so sure. I think fans confuse riches for quality and so do our players. They think because they are paid better than the rest of Europe that they must be better than the rest of Europe. This is the complacency of most Spurs players

Spurs are being punished for trying to protect fans, players and officials from Covid? That’s a dangerous precedent to set.

I think its more of the way it was done. I suspect Levy and the Club acted with a tinge of arrogance and disregard for Rennes.

Just like some of our fans act towards other European teams they believe are beneath them.

So what evidence do you have to back up this comment of arrogance by the club?
If the club does not take any action and the virus spreads even more throughout the club, then they would quite rightly be slaughtered by the media and fans.
Damned if they do and damned if they don’t!

We are a top 6 team in the strongest league in Europe, and in all likelihood should be challenging for top 4 this season. Whether we get into the top 4 is another matter. I would say this puts us high in the ranking of all the teams in the competition. Obviously it doesn't mean you're going to win it as any team can be beaten on the day by another, as we have already shown in this competition, but in terms of whether we SHOULD be looking to win it, then I would say yes.

Agreed just like we should be looking to win everything. Even our last cup win we were underdogs so it's key we all change our mentality to Europe and the league.

I think we will see one of two outcomes - Spurs vs Rennes in January or Vitesse vs Spurs in January as a decider.

I can’t believe for a second that Daniel Levy won’t have lawyers crawling all over it. I mean kicking us out like this is UEFA basically saying that we should have risked the health of both our players and Rennes

Vitesse v Spurs would be a fun one off at a neutral ground.
