Match Facts

Head-to-head
Manchester City are winless in four Premier League games against Leeds since a 2-1 home victory under Kevin Keegan in January 2003 (D2, L2).
Leeds, who won the corresponding fixture 2-1 last season, could earn consecutive away league victories against Manchester City for the first time in 34 years.

Manchester City
Victory on Tuesday would ensure City equal Liverpool's top-flight record of 33 wins in a calendar year, set in 1982.
Manchester City are unbeaten in 14 Premier League home matches played on a Tuesday since losing to Blackburn at Maine Road in August 1993 (W10, D4).
They have scored 499 goals in 206 Premier League games under Pep Guardiola. The fewest matches any team has taken to score 500 under one manager is 234, set by Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.

Leeds United
Leeds' 2-1 triumph at Manchester City in April was only the second time in 20 attempts they have beaten the side starting the day top of the Premier League table.
They have won all five of their Premier League fixtures played on a Tuesday since returning to the top flight last year.
However, Leeds could become the first side to score at least twice in three successive Premier League matches but not win any of them since West Ham in March/April 2016.
Marcelo Bielsa's team have lost 10 of their 13 Premier League games (77%) without Kalvin Phillips since the beginning of last season, compared to just 11 defeats in 41 (27%) when he plays.
Raphinha has scored seven of Leeds' 17 league goals this season.

This is definitely going to be tough, especially with available players worrying about picking up yellow cards, add that to the injury list and it's all pointing to a sneaky 1-2 Win for Leeds , Jack Harrison and Raph to score
(I know, 😜)

Well if nothing else it's been a reality check.

No use feeling sorry for ourselves just need to somehow regroup and go again and hope that we get something different next time out.

Well yes, and the performance against Chelsea is proof that we can play much better than we did tonight.

Worst player on the pitch is Raph.

I agree with you there. He looked like he couldn’t be bothered - probably because he wasn’t the ‘main man’ tonight. He had 11 opposition players who put him in the shade! I was very disappointed with his efforts tonight.

Maybe Bielsa after tonight's embarrassment will finally see it would have been better to play a real CB and a real Striker and a real RB and so playing Cresswell at the back and iether Roberts as an out and out striker or young Gelhardt instead of James would be more effective and I know people will say well we did the same against Chelsea and nearly got a result but against what many would say is a superior team in Man City less than 72 hours later things needed to be freshened up but like I say it's all hindsight and hopefully this doesn't damage confidence and the wheels haven't come off good and proper and we lose are next 3 heavily too.
Big test of character now.
Have we got what it takes for a right old battle to stay up?

Just face up to facts! City are light years ahead of us. Both money wise and player wise,

Bollocks! City just didn’t give any of our players a chance.

Just my opinion, Stoopo! I thought he could have put more effort in.
