Why would you disbelieve him? VC's told everyone where he grew up on other threads many times.

He just needs to stay away from the football decisions. So far with Murtough seemingly taking a leading role in appointing Ralf, this seems to be the case.

It was widely reported around the time Rangnick was appointed that Arnold recognises his lack of expertise in running sporting operations, sees himself focusing on the commercial side of the business, and intends to delegate the football decision making in a way Woodward didn't.
