Can't blame the lad really, Arteta has properly fecked him over again this season. I don't see how anyone can look at what's gone on last season and most telling, the end of the summer window to now and not seriously question Arteta's motivations here. With the exception of Pulis and Berahino years back this is now becoming the worst case of "I'm gonna feck your career" spite driven management I can think of. I know many here don't agree with me but I think that the full prime AMN can be one hell of a MF player, if he's left playing there regularly and influenced by the right kind of manager.
Ironically Arteta would be perfect to do this if he wasn't such a duche. When he kept him here, I was hoping that's what he intended to do. But turns out Arteta really is a true who has only kept AMN to personally see to it that he is able to develop no further as a MF player, by freezing him out to the bench again all season. Stopping him from playing now is devastating to any further improvement that was to follow and prolonged much further will put the nail in the AMN mf career coffin, before he even got the chance to fully start it. AMN's time at the club and service to it deserve far far more respect than this "Stamp on the last Wenger baby" BS Arteta and the club have given him. FGS play him or let him go on loan.
Also his current treatment reflects badly on AFC, as the parent of a PL talented youngster. Having seen the way Arteta has treated the majority of younger players at AFC, no way in hell would this club get my kid's signature so long as that man was here. I mean would you let your kid sign on the dotted line for a manager that you knew would squash his career simply because when directly asked he answered "Yes, I'd love to get more chances in another position." Because along with disregard for younger players physical healthy, Arteta and AFC would be way too big a risk to take with my teenager's future in football. It's literally giving the man your kid's hope and dreams. And he clearly gets a kick out of the power he has to stamp on them.

Arteta doesn't have anything to do with 16-20 yr olds whom are good enough, playing in the first team.

You were talking about kids, now adults? Not really following your thought process.

Incorrect, Wenger was the first one calling that as where he'd ultimately end up. Emery never had any choice, he had to play him at RB because of Bellerin. Covering for Bellerin is the only reason he never saw more MF playing time previously.
And if he doesn't fancy him there then let him go on loan or sell him to teams that do, like Everton for instance. It's the blocking the loan to make him sit on the bench that truly stinks of foul play on Arteta's part here. There was no reason to block the move if the bench was all he was going to do with him. And he certainly shouldn't have lied to the player promising him game time he had no intention of giving, to do it.

The fact is Sam Allardyce is the only manager who has given him regular minutes as centre midfielder.
Imagine the stick Arteta would have got had he let AMN go out on loan with Xhaka getting injured. That would have left us with Elneny as our only back up to Lokonga and Partey for the best part of 3 months. Granted from AMN's perspective this period hasn't been great for his development, but the fact is we have needed the cover the there.

These fantasies you create are pretty impressive. Is your job a fiction writer?

Keeping him as "cover" is no excuse for the player to have seen so little gametime. Not with Partey huffing and puffing all over the gaff, Sambi new to the league and him being a better, younger player than Elneny anyway. The issue here is not the keeping him, it's the keeping him with next to no 1st team gametime and not even a guaranteed cup match starting spot. As "cover" players would normally have. And as Arteta himself promised the AMN he would get staying (PL starts & PL gametime was promised, don't know what they discussed on cup games but they are usually cover players game time).
That's not what a manager does with a bench player he has any intention of giving a future to. It's what he does with a player he wants to let rot. AMN should have been seeing 10/15 mins off the bench and multiple starts so far this season. Because he should have been coming on for a tired Partey/Sambi at times. Arteta could be playing him a lot more than he has been with no detriment to the team, benefit to the player and team too. But no he's freezing him out as he did last season. It's nothing to do with "cover," the fact he's not used him a lot more, says it's personal.
Nothing justifies how little Arteta has played him, given the overall standard of players on the team since Arteta arrived until now.

Hmm, maybe we should listen to what the actual players say:
“It feels great and I’m really excited to be here,” Mika told Arsenal.com. “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity and I couldn’t really turn it down. I think now with the recent track record of youth going into the first team, I thought it was a great project to try and be a part of.”
Oh, it seems the track record of the youth going into the first team far outweighs one player who didn't get played by two previous managers not being happy.

The ya go again pretending you don't know better than the dumb sh!t you just said. You know better than I do Wenger's opinions on AMN better than I do and you also know damned well that every real MF run chance AMN got prematurely ended by a Bellerin injury we he bacame forced to move and cover the absence at RB. As well as 18 months covering for him when blew out his knee. So don't even bother with ya "Two previous managers not playing him there," sh!te when ya feckin well know it had nothing to do with him lacking the ability to do so and where Wenger said he was ultimately destined to play.
Stop with the trolling man. It just makes you look kinda pathetic and empty-lived.

Saying AMN's been treated like sh!t and it's not a good look for AFC. Apparently though, many see to believe that publicly breaking promises to and vendetta squashing the careers of long standing youngsters, who've served well earned their chance and are good enough. Is the best way forward in regard to attracting future young talent.
Largely because they're seeing some of the current teenagers (whom Arteta had little to do with getting here) doing well at the moment. And they somehow think that prospective youngsters parents will be most focused on what a manager will do to help their child's career whilst everything is rosie, he's playing out of his sock and has the football world on a plate in front of him. As opposed to what one is likely to do in the other ninety-some percent of cases where that doesn't happen and he's actually required to manage/coach his player to help him achieve.

So you actually ignore what a youngster said on joining Arsenal a few months ago and instead continue with this view that parents will block their 20 year old from signing for Arsenal? Okay...
Tbf, if Ains parents had stopped him joining Arsenal then maybe his mother wouldn't be living in a lock-up waiting for Heavy D to make a King Cobra Boooooom bid.

AMN is not a particularly good player. Jesus Christ, you go on like we’ve got Zidane sitting on the bench or something.

I don’t think AMN has been treated badly, the truth is he hasn’t helped himself. He could have nailed down the right back spot but he resented playing there - then he changed his mind and wanted to play there (to try and get in the England team) but by then Arsenal had bought Tomiyasu & AMN does not look capable of displacing him. I think Big Sam’s assessment is right, he is decent but didn’t “pull up trees” and should be more realistic. He hasn’t done enough to force his way into the midfield first eleven, basically he continually overrates himself, a loan move would be good but if he is determined to leave permanently then we should just do it.
