We are so screwed!

French TV channel Canal+ are reporting that Bacary Sagna's injury appears to be an ankle fracture. No confirmation yet.

Guess we'll have to rely on Jenkinson for the rest of the season!

Pathetic management when you consider that we have the most injury prone squad in the league. Can't believe we are going to miss out on a CL spot this year!

Jenkinson is one of the worst defenders I've seen in a long, long time. Imo he's worse than Squillaci.

Eboue was the best back up RB in the league but we just couldn't resist a MASSIVE 4m pound offer.

Honestly I think Spurs will get 4th now, but I think Arsenal will probably finish 5th or 6th.

I know Arsenal fans will be as miserable and sin and downbeat after today but the positives are by the end of this month you'll have played:

- Chelsea
- United
- Liverpool
- Spurs
- Stoke

and got your hardest CL group game out the way.

You have some favourable fixtures coming up and everyone will be dropping points.

It sums up arsenal, sell experienced player for good money then replaced with a younger player with no experience on the cheap.

Lets not go that far

Jenkinson's not great, but he's not THAT bad. Squillaci isn't even a defender. God knows what he is.

Oh Kamran, I've been depressed for the last week.

I said at the beginning of the season: God help us if Sagna gets injured. What can he do for us???

Fair enough. I would take 5th with the way we're playing at the moment and I never thought I'd say that.

4 defeats out of 7? Hah.

Yeah - what crisis?

Also if RVP gets injured where are the goals going to come from? Can't believe the best we could do was Park!

Samir, Jenkinson is tragic. I don't care what anyone says, he's worse than Squillaci. People keep saying 'he's young, give him time' but being young is no excuse to perform like that. Look at Coquelin for example. He's roughly the same age as Jenkinsob but he put in a proper shift today. Age isn't an excuse.

I'm still think we'll finish in the top 4. I think today we showed that we're STILL a better team than Spurs despite losing. We had our two best CBs and our best midfielder out and we still should've come away with at least a point.

I still think Wilshere was an absolute hammer blow to you guys, he was missed badly today. When he plays, Ramsey looks like a different player, he almost has the same enigma and character as Fabregas did.

My worry is that there is no real leadership at Arsenal. For all his critics in his final 2 years at Arsenal, people underestimated what a crucial figure Cesc was for you.

My best mate who is a Gooner asked me in June who I thought it was more important to keep at the time out of Cesc and Nasri and I said Cesc hands down, he said Nasri.

Arsenal miss them both but IMO Cesc far far more

Unlike Liverpool there will always be goals in Arsenal which is why I feel in the long run you'll do okay.

IMO you would cope better without RVP than Liverpool would without Suarez
