I am a bit perplexed tbh about the whole situation
I cant think of anything egregious that has happened to him at the club since he arrived that was cause his behaviour
He played til he got injured, then we played him back into the team when he was fit
The injury isnt exactly our fault
Also from his viewpoint his actions have just added a new set of fans who are angry with him. His response to Inter fans hating him online is to grovel to them at the expense of our fans??
At the place where you are contracted to play still

Anelka was an amazing talent. He came to us in the last throes of his career and still impressed.

Oh, I totally agree Anelka was class. That’s why I was careful to include the “less talented” part 😂
There was a good period when playing for you that very nearly every single shot Anelka took was at least on target and tested the keeper, regardless of angle of the shot or pace of the received ball.
It will be interesting to see if Rom is included in the next match day squad
