Yeah missing those two and taking into account the insane number of injuries we’ve had plus covid and then the lack of fitness/sharpness of returning players on the back of those issues, it was a top performance.

If we had the fitness/availability record City have had we would be right there with them.

I know this wont be popular but i still think Alonso is doing ok he was too slow for Salah today but hes not the only full bak to suffer against him. since he joined in 2016 he is the top scoring defender in the PL.

I think Connor is a very different type of midfielder than Kante and if anything see him fighting with Mount for team selection

Both Liverpool and ourselves need to beat City now for any chance. No good if only ione of us beats them.

connor is more a box to box player than mount who is an attacking mid. Both very good youngsters though glad we have them.
