I find this outrage very odd. Unless I have misunderstood the rules myself, a team can request postponement if they do not have 13 outfield players available of the 25 man squad. I think this rule pre-dates Covid. Therefore, each player’s reason is irrelevant. Happy to be corrected.

So Liverpool can make up "false positives" to cancel a game but the uproar is only when arsenal ask for a postponement lol

Do you really believe LFC faked false positives?
I mean, I understand the p 155 taking, and back and forth, but really?🙂
Beyond the fact that clubs don't have direct control over testing, and the results of those tests, do you really belive any club would outright lie about covid cases?
Utterly ridiculous suggestion.

Clubs are probably working around the rules, sometimes to their own advantage, but why wouldn't they?

Crazy as it seems I think so. I don’t agree with it but if it there to be taken advantage of they will. I personally think the youth players should be used by all to ease the fixture congestion.
