NLD Postponement

So Arsenal fans are attempting to justify their manipulation of the covid rules compared to the scousera because the scouaers had a bunch of false positives.

It's a fair argument but it relies on them hoping that we have short memories. Hoping that we don't remember what their opinions were on Liverpool postponing the Arsenal game BEFORE they admitted that most of the tests were false positives.

So in their own words, they are cheats

‘Where the status of a COVID-19 outbreak within a club’s squad remains unclear very close to a match. For example, where there remains a concern that not all COVID-19 infections have been identified and there is insufficient time to resolve that concern before kick-off.’

There’s been another COVID positive result today, so suspect this is actually the reason the request to postpone was made, and granted.

😂 yeah you keep telling yourself that

If there were more positives Arsenal would have announced them immediately as they can’t be stupid enough to realise the negative media spin this has caused on their club

Rightly or wrongly I will add as you have played by the stupid rules put in place by the league

Still doesn’t excuse arsenal for manipulating the rules though

To try and compare the situation with us postponing our Brighton game is also ridiculous

We had 12 positive cases ….you have 1 (that’s known of)

They’re not obliged to, apparently. Just ask Liverpool.

Also find it slightly hilarious how everyone is conveniently forgetting we played, and lost, matches at the start of the season during a COVID outbreak at the club.

But yeah, ‘rules being made for Arsenal’ etc.

We did announce the positive, not the player(s) who tested positive as that is personal information that doesn't need to be released.

We also had an outbreak last month, 7 players but no request for postponement.

Both as bad as each other the Tottenham fans never ending whining about it and Arsenal fans defending it and comparing it to vastly different circumstances.

It's on the Premier league and it's there for every club to try to get games off now, they'll be inconsistencies because the bigger clubs especially have more margin for error at the top of the league.

So Arsenal will be severely under strength for the semi this week? Pull the other one. We all know Arteta has pulled a fast one, and Arsenal will be as close to full strength as possible midweek.
