The bench consisted of Werner and Havertz who are only back from injuries/covid, Kovacic and Pulisic who were being rested due to the scheduling, RLC who’s only back from an injury, Saul who wasn’t needed and then a no name keeper, a youth player and a CB.

1) I'm sure those who were 'being rested' could have done more than 10 minutes,
2) Some on the pitch have just come back from injury too.
3) why Saul not needed? He has begun to play well recently.
I take your point, but don't you agree that 10 minutes from the end was too late?

Footballers tired? They should be at the end of a game if they have played the full 90. A day or two off and they should be raring to go again. Pathetic excuse.

It makes me tired watching some of these millionair superstars !

Players love 2 games a week. Constant play, recovery, shape for the next game. It does take it's toll but it beats high intensity sessions during training so players prefer it.

Have you not got any younger players that are earning more money then most Premier league first teamers?..

Surely they'll be fresh and raring to go!..

I think to keep the top teams happy we should have a 2 week break between every game!..

How are the German "Los Merengues" Osna doing L U ?

My other daughters team Meppen,seem to be going full blast at the moment !
