History suggests we should.
Unless Roman has mellowed in his old age, then Porto won't save Tuchel for long if the results don't improve quickly.
Just ask Di Matteo?! Although Roman did wait until end of season to fire Carlo.
Tuchel - Should we be worried?

Their biggest issue is missing their first choice wing backs. They’re absolutely critical to how they play and it completely changes them when they’re not available.
That was really obvious in our game with them last weekend.

Spot on.
Especially the way that Tuchel gave them freedom to come into central attacking positions. Azpi and Alonson don't have that in their lockers.

Alonso doesn’t have much at all in his locker biggish!

It's difficult to get a read on Chelsea tbh. Is that their actual level, are they overrated or are they underperforming. Definitely up for debate.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are underperforming, no doubt about that.
Mount is well below par and Kante since he came back from injury.
Then you have CHO, Havertz and Pullisic still very young developing playersand currently experiencing the glass ceiling.
Had Lukaku made th eexpected impact we would be ok, but though injury and his own shortcomings he has so far fallen below what has been needed.

There are 2 outfield positions where the drop off from first team to reserve is really stark - RWB and LWB. Azpi is too old and arguably doesn't have the attacking talent to get anywhere near James and Alonso is a liability compared to Chilwell. They've lost their width.
The attackers just seem to be out of form or lacking confidence. Lukaku will score goals if you provide for him but he's been injured and not getting the service right now. Werner, Pulisic and Havertz look beaten men atm, just lacking any sort of belief.
Put the WBs back in that side and a bit of form to even 50% of their forward options and they'd be absolutely fine again.

Might be the fact we’ve played way more games than anyone else and haven’t hidden behind postponements to get a nice break
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How many more games though?
Considering your bloated squad then 2 or 3 games is nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
During December we were missing all 3 CMS for some games plus Lukaku and Werner plus James and Chilwell for many games
That was horrendous for us. Plus we kept on picking up injuries during games.

We had a cm pairing of loftus cheek and chalobah for one game but…you know, bloated squad. Some people’s tribalism really takes over all common sense

Flash....Tuchel is safe unless there is dressing room unrest.
Ziyech yesterday was slightly concerning and Lukaku rocked the boat with his interview. We just have to see if there is more to it or not
Most pundits prior last night were saying what a happy camp Chelsea was and how good the cobham vibe is.

We do have a decent size squad Nick, but we have been hit with a freakish number of injuries and then Covid that decimated it beyong belief.

It’s the players who are in the squad that are the issue for me but either way it’s a moot point. As you say the injuries have been freakish. Doesn’t matter how big the squad is if everyone’s injured. Relying on loftus cheek who hadn’t completed 90 minutes in years and a young cb in cm summed it up

Injuries, COVID and lady luck are at play, as TT is a top boy, imo
