Yeah but at least they get the good cop McNulty treatment. His headline this morning is "A missed opportunity" with an article full of "nearly this, nearly that" positive strokes. Like others in the media, he also thinks it is ok to say they are still "developing" after, what is it, about a decade. We all know if it was Spurs that lost last night, he would be absolutely slaughtering them this morning.
Oh and don't get me started on Merson, who flatly refused to admit his team were rubbish. Just fluffed it up all through the post match review.
