Diaz to Liverpoolcouldn’t make it up. It was never happening, but I wish Spurs would stop pretending they are this huge club if they have zero intention of spending like one. Flirting with all these marque players then losing out all the time is f** embarrassing

Well yes mate because he was being linked to Liverpool etc before, so clearly he’s a top player. Liverpool don’t come in and steal him from us if he isn’t a top player. It’s the case of Levy thinking we are a huge club with his pathetic lemonade budget bids that end up going nowhere. Shambles of a football club.

There is another Portuguese attacker who plays on the right from Sporting. Pedro Gonçalves (23yrs) 13 goals, 9 assists from 26 games this season.

Abit smaller than Luis but more in the Jota mould.

Wonder if he is on our radar?

Anyway, our midfield is still lightweight. Really hope the money which was "going" to Porto is spent on midfielder.

It's always frustrating and I'm not defending them (at all) but who exactly could realistically come in right now and fundamentally change our squad? January signings have always been either a) overpriced or b) available for a reason.
