Bolton host Sunderland at the unibol today, a premier league fixture as recent as 2012. Sunderland in their 4th season in tier 3 and struggling to get back to the championship. In 2nd place automatic promotion place but have Rotherham a point and 2 games in hand breathing down their necks. It feels a big game today with over 20000 likely just as it did earlier in the season when Bolton squandered numerous chances and lost 1-0 despite dominating play. 6 new signings including 3 new attacking players in charles, Bodvarsson and sadlier which hopefully mean Bolton have a sharper cutting edge now going forward. Team news. Amaechi now fit and available, Lee too after coming off half time at Shrewsbury. Out injured the 4 long term isgrove, tutte, Kachunga and Sheehan. Hopefully we can keep that injury list right down as today is the start of.a busy 4 week Saturday/Tuesday run which will test the squad to the limit.
Transfer Deadline Day. Monday expect some final ins and outs as Bolton seek to complete that 7th signing of what has been a very successful transfer window.
Possible ins. Kyle Dempsey from Gillingham.
Possible Outs. Nathan Delfounso, Ronan Darcy(loan), Luke Hutchinson (loan).

So two and a half years. I was hoping that it might be three and a half years but hey ho, the deal has been done.
Welcome to BWFC.Let's hope that it's fruitful for all concerned.

Did somebody remember to shut the window I didn't hear a thing.
Will it be an unchanged team sheet tonight.

I think so. Dempsey can't be involved so I expect his first outing to be off the bench on Saturday.

We need a reminder for later.
It's 20.00hrs, 8pm O'clock Kick Off at home to Cambridge Utd.
And a memo to the EFL stating the window shouldn't be shutting the night before a night game.

Cambridge are two points above us so a win for us this evening would put us above them.
Let's hope that we can put them to the razor-sharp sword that we used on Saturday. Three points are essential tonight.
We must make the most of our new players and our newly found confidence.

We could potentially move up to 11 if everything goes our way and we score a few goals. That would be quite a jump up the table and the playoffs wouldn't be an impossibility.
It's quite an exciting prospect.

Here are the teams that we have to play in February.
Team Position in the table.
Cambridge. 12
Morecambe. 21
Charlton. 14
Oxford. 6
Burton Albion. 10
AFC Wimbledon. 20
Lincoln City. 18
Milton Keynes Dons. 4
We could be capable of winning all those games. MKD's and Oxford would possibly be the hardest games, but with our new recruits and building confidence, who's to say that we can't win all eight of those games?
I'm not getting carried away after the success against Sunderland, but I'm definitely a lot more optimistic.
What are your thoughts?
