With the lack of any meaningful action in the January transfer market, and one day to go before it closes, are there any last minute activities we can expect? Any secret negotiations we are currently not party to?
Realising this period is always hard to achieve anything as no one wants to let go players midway season; but is this also a statement by the Chelsea board that we can achieve our targets without making any changes to the general plan? Leave things as they are and do the necessary in the summer market.
Are you happy with that?
Transfer expectations.

Desperately need a LWB. We're still trying to get Emerson back

And don't they know it...Doesn't look likely unless we up the ante...

With James hopefully back soon, the only problem position is LWB, with Chillwell out for the season.
It doesn't look like we're going to bring anyone in to replace Alonso but if we have a plan in place, to play the increasingly impressive Sarr there with Lewis Hall also in the wings, until Chilly returns, then I'm cool with that!

Steady as she goes then...should work out fine, but I can't help feeling there may be a little last minute surprise on the cards to come , but if not at this time...no panic buying needed.

Steady as she goes, and full steam ahead

We need a LWB as others have mentioned. Recalling Emerson is fine but that'll need addressing one way or another. The issues in attack is a job for a summer window.

Beating Spurs has ruled out a big panic buy I reckon. If they'd have beaten us I'm not sure, never know with Roman - and that's why he's great

I'd be disappointed if we don't bring in a LWB after trying throughout January to bring one in.
Plus TT has said on many occasions that he wants a LWB brought in this transfer window. Need to back the manager.
