So Arsenal are refusing to let go of Nketiah despite receiving a fee from Palace. Makes little sense considering he’d be leaving for free anyway in 6 months, and his impact so far has been so minimal, surely it is better to take whatever offer comes in?
Aubameyang is off, which is a good riddance. However this leaves us severely short up top. This lack of striker can work for City, but not for Arsenal. This will seriously cost us. Do Arsenal have a plan to get any replacement in?
Aubameyang off, who’s in?

Aubameyang has 4 PL goals this season?
Lacazette 3 (2 of which I think were pens?).
Nketiah 0.
I know we’ve played better with Lacazette in the side than either of the other two, but really all we’d be losing at this stage by selling any of them, are guys filling out an XI, rather than players actually carrying out their jobs.

At least we are no nearing the end of the failed laca/Auba era.
Saying that, if Auba leaves tomorrow and we have no lined up replacemt, it would be up there with when we didn't sign a single outfield player

Surely we cannot seriously letting Auba go and no replacements, madness. I thought Arteta said we are short on midfielders and we are in the market. The only thing that has happened this month is Kroenke has recouped all his summer spending in wages saved by selling or releasing players.

Strong chance nketiah is leaving aswell apparently, arteta must have immense faith in Lacazette’s fitness for the next 17 games.

There’s got to be a striker coming in if auba goes. I don’t think Arteta rates nketiah anyway, only plays when he has to, the club have been trying to offload him for a while now. Otherwise with balogun on loan it’s literally just lacazette who doesn’t score. I’d imagine if he got injured it’d be Martinelli up front, or Pepe or smith Rowe as some weird false 9. Think Arteta and the club 100% want to get a striker, it’s just whether is possible or not now. Don’t think they’ll let auba go unless we have a player lined up. Unless whatever he’s done means he’s never playing for us again regardless of it he says or goes

I have a feeling it will be a forward instead of an out and out striker.
PSV’s Cody Gakpo?

Morata will come in on a 6 month loan deal. He's still relatively young and will hopefully perform a Giroud type role for the team. Not the most exciting deal but if we can't obtain our main targets until the Summer then I'd rather bring a loan deal in than spend all our funds on someone we don't really want.

Ummm not sure which Arteta you are talking about and what club either. Alongside Willian, Nketiah is the special one in Arteta's eyes. Not long ago, Nketiah was starting ahead of Lacazette and comes on ahead of Pepe (and Martinelli not so long ago). I have zero idea what Arteta sees in Nketiah but waxes lyrical about how good he is and wanting him to stay.
As for the club trying to get rid of him, you could not be more wrong. We have had offers of ~15mill for him in the past 2 summers. We even have Newcastle wanting him now (which would be brilliant business as he has less than 6 months left and is NOT signing. New contract).
When it comes to Nketiah, the club and Arteta especially is messing with the fans.
