Lots of talk about Emerson coming back
My view is that emerson, is a much better all round player than alonso
Can defend and attack in equal measure but is more suited to a 4 at the back
But i also think with a bit of game time and coaching he could be a massive coup, particularly with Alonso i think quite likely to move on in the summer back to spain
We desperately need cover in this area in Jan, we cannot go forward with just alonso in his current form.
i do also think we need some more natural weight at RWB even with RJ returning,
these positions are so key and almost specialist in our side and its no coincidence our patchy form coincided with the loss of our first choice LWB and RWB

Yeah he's not much better than Alonso if we're being honest . He's got recovery pace Alonso doesn't have, but defensively in general he's just as poor.
He's the answer to the present problem of only having one LWB to choose from so just recall him already, but going forward we'll need better competition for Chillwell.

There’s a decent player in there, I don’t believe he’s a disaster. Given we’re talking about a backup, I think he’s an adequate squad player.

Ok the season before. Arsenal away switched off and Auba had a tap in from a corner. In the home game we were 2-1 up with miniutes to go. Mount is gesturing to him to put the ball out of play so a player could get treatment and he decides to hit it up field they come back and score and if i'm not mistaken he was beaten by Bellerin on the way to the goal. He is not strong enough defensively. I have got the season wrong but the mistakes were made and that is what ultimately counts.

We should have just used this as an oppurtunity to get some proper competition for Chilwell. I like Chilwell and this season was he was on his game, even then thinj if we wanna reach City level we would do well to get some high level competition. I’m thinking Gosens (just moved to Inter for like €25m) or Kostic.

He won the european championship with Italy so i guess there are coaches out there that know better than ja606 fans.
