Some things aren’t meant to be, past 2 years have been an absolute nightmare for him.
Fondest memory? Or any general comments to make on his Spurs career?
Good luck to him
Farewell Dele

Just like your financially doped club then.

Ali is good in a team winning games but his head drops when the team is trailing. Spurs documentary showed his attitude was questionable at times. Trains lazy and can be negative in the dressing room. I've no doubt his lack of confidence doesn't help.
To play for a top team u need to have ability and work rate or be exceptional to be treated as a luxury. At Everton he won't have that pressure. Be interested to see the fee structure.

Shame how it turned out, but he really had to go somewhere. I'm glad he's got Lampard there, a coach that basically made a career out of the same skillset must be his best chance of getting back into form.

Sorry I really don't understand why any Spurs fans wish him well. He is lazy, disinterested and, has despite several managers trying to coax him into making something out of his career, failed for around 2 years to make any telling contribution. He's everything that I despise about the modern player.
And, before you say it, yes as an Arsenal fan I should know as we've had plenty like Ozil, Auba, Willian and others who have coasted and not put the effort in despite taking millions out of fan's pockets in wages.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Sandy feels very smug about using the words 'financially doped' in every post and thinks it ends every conversation in his favour. Almost like he invented the phrase

last few years he has stunk out the place but he was great when he came and scored some crucial goals.

You are better off rid. Everton is clearly the retirement home for past-it NL players so he'll fit right in. They'll probably buy Laca in the summer the mugs

He is, no doubt, still clinging on to the hope that Sheikh Mansour will get bored with his plaything and pull the plug.
13+ years and counting.
