Forest v Leicester - Match Thread

Leicester arrive in town this weekend to meet a Forest team hit by injuries. Yes, I am getting the excuses in early!

With the likes of Grabban and Worrall injured until after the next International break, we will be relying on Panzo and Surridge to fill the gaps. Yes, I hadn't heard of them either, but that doesn't mean they can't be consistent revelations such as Spence, or growing legends such as Davis.

Team wise then we will be a bit short, with a predicted starting eleven also missing Cook, Lolley and Mighten.

Ojeda meanwhile should be encouraged by playing RW against Brazil (and losing 4-0), whilst Laryea has also been playing RW and helping Canada's resurgence into an unlikely World Cup spot as they top the group.

Who said we needed wingers when a quick word by Cooper gives them an International try-out further up the pitch. Both unlikely to figure due to jet-lag.

After the worst game since Cooper joined (against Cardiff), we are back in action a week later. Leicester, will likely be hit by the International break also, but haven't played since the 23/1, so will be nicely rested.

Leicester have an away trip to second placed Liverpool in the following week, as do we against Blackburn, also in second place. This could see the teams varying greatly, with youth players on both sides being given the chance to shine.

Prediction: 3-1 to Leicester

With Leicester wanting to get a place in Europe, then FA Cup retention and the Europa League remains a priority, seemingly to far out of the European spots in the EPL. With our squad being the way it is and our main CB and goalscorer out, then I see a spirited battle, but Leicester ultimately coming out on top.
