As for the game and the result, it was a true reflection of the performances from both sides, Celtic wanted it so much more than us tonight, and got a deserved victory
As for the title race, tonight was not a true reflection
First of all, we started with a converted LB at CB, which for me told massively. The difference second half when Balogun came on was telling, and I’d be quite happy if Barasic never played a game for us again, he shat it big time
Secondly, we have a player of Ramsey’s quality still to come in, who will pick holes in the press that worked so effectively for Celtic tonight, we’ve already seen better teams and better players pick their way through that press and leave you exposed, and without even Davis or Ramsey tonight, we didn’t have that at all, Kamara too defensive and Barasic bottling it
Thirdly, there is no chance in hell that your team, squad, players can keep up the intensity of press and the energy you displayed tonight, you were well up for it first half and credit to you, but come the dog days do you really think that intensity will still be on show….I don’t, it was nowhere to be seen even second half tonight, and I foresee far more injuries to your team as a result of the work rate big Ange is expecting from your players…..Abada limping off with what looked like a hammy issue being just the tip of the iceberg tonight
We had very little presence up top tonight, Morelos coming back will change that massively
We will never play as badly as that again under Gio, he didn’t try to defend anyone after the game unlike Gerrard which was great to see, he admitted we were awful and likely let the players know that just as much aswelll
So enjoy your night bhoys, a well deserved victory for you, but I predict you won’t stay top for long, and the Rangers team you face at Ibrox won’t crumble even half as much as that team did tonight in the first half

Celtic deserved the win, they used the atmosphere and blew us away in the first 45mins.
Genuine concerns around GVB now, 7 points dropped since the break and now chasing. I think we have the players to turn it around if we use the right ones and in the right system. Will we? I'm not convinced.
Sunday is massive, we need to get back to winning ways and a performance wouldn't go a miss. Celtic losing too would be great

It's a tough one for GvB his January transfer budget was pitiful, not his fault, he would have been told that before he took the job, his fault. Too many are too auld and too many are loans, could even argue too many are too young. Btw Tavernier is still never a captain he absolutely adds nothing as a leader.

I am accepting we were soundly beaten last night...but I'm not buying this argument that you took your foot of the gas second half....you simply can't play at that level for 90mins, it was never going to happen

Re the OP … I think any fears Abada had done both hammy’s were allayed when we saw the way he was bouncing up and down in front of our support post-match. Think he’s fine.
