So much negativity on social media about our performance today. Be happy we won, despite lacking the usual flair . Not surprisingly Plymouth had the entire neutral word supporting them, and they played like a team of Bravehearts...all credit. Thanks Kepa for saving us from being savaged here had we lost this game. No complaints, I'm celebrating being in Round 5. And may our nr 9 bring us the joy we so hunger for

Just because the climaxing was problematic doesn't necessarily translate that the foreplay was awful? I rather agree with Judas's comment that the putting it in the net problem was frustrating but the domination and general play, the continual blitzkreiging of the opposition box was not as bad as so many here think.

It was bad. Slow and over intricate. Can none of our players hit the ball cleanly?

dude utd were home against middlesborough, their keeper played a superb game we hit the woodwork 3 times

Tbf to Alonso he did point out the fan who had collapsed at that game recently, Watford was it ?

As is often pointed out to debunk that argument, Djimi Traore won the Champions League too. Bakayoko's played in a CL semi ffs

Alonso's an average player who has two redeeming qualities, (1) is a threat in the box, (2) got a decent free kick. In a different team I'm sure he'd be a star player but he's just not up to our standards.
