Reading between the lines of the official statement, it seems unlikely that there will be any further players coming in this season, either on loan or permanently in the transfer window.
The statement says that 'he will continue to ensure that the club continues to honour all it's CURRENT financial committments'.
Fair enough, but who will take the blame now when we don't sign anybody?
No more new players??

If we know that we can't sign anybody........so be it, accept it. Being continously lied to is the problem!

Doughty is spending any more money. He will have reached a settlement with agent Ssteeve that allows Sssteeve to resign. Prob £1m not £2m.
I think you could end up witha caretaker manager for the rest of the season. Ned Kelly.

We have a squad that's good enough to compete, it's now time to bring someone in that can motivate them and get them playing for the club again.

Ray - You don't honestly believe that do you.
Steve committed his future and his reputation on being able to build his side at Forest. That was taken away from him. Do you think he actually just said he had made a mistake and walked away with nothing and his reputation in tatters. If so, then you are a bigger fool that I have thought you are, and that's big.
