Still none the wiser TB. I fundamentally do not understand your point of view. Unless you're being a total WUM about it... And what do you mean by a cancer in the club. Sounds like a ridiculous rhetoric without any basis other than to rant for the sake of it.

Rodgers was probably being diplomatic at the end of the transfer window when he said he was happy with the players he’s got and how he’ll still keep working to improve them.
Changed his time a bit now though, implying there’ll be the mother of all clear outs in the summer.
You couldn’t make it up.
Mind you, can’t blame him for being seriously pi$$ed off by the way they played, or rather didn’t play on Sunday.

I truly believe that Rodgers is destroying the Club from the inside out.
Tielemans is proof that mediocrity is accepted by Rodgers, that does nothing for the mentality of other players, the same one's who step up when asked then get dropped back into obscurity when one one the favourites is availble again, time and time again this has happened.
I also believe that despite a shortness of money due to Covid, if the Club wanted to give Rodgers a bit of support, someone on Loan could easily have been paid for, the Club ( Top ) has Rodgers on Notice.
He's now passing that on in the media talking about a clear out in the Summer, well the main issue will be off, that's for sure, depends whether any other Club is stupid enough to pay our fee for Tielemans.
All about opinions, I'm confident my thoughts will be born out in the Summer, botyh will be gone, until then I won't be shy about offering my thoughts about rhe pair.

And it’s worthy of comment that while our opinions might differ, we don’t descend to the moronic obscenity laden drivel that is common on most other club boards.

Thanks TB. Appreciate you taking the time to respond substantively.
I disagree with your views on Rodgers and Tielemans' ability, but I can't argue that Tielemans has generally been below-par this season (I think it's safe to say the club's performances as a whole have been below-par) and that Rodgers has made some very questionable decisions this season (and during his tenure).
I think the club really doesn't have any money, after splashing £14m on Vestergaard in the summer (Southampton can still be heard laughing all the way to the bank on that one!)
I think we've desperately missed Fofana and Justin. I think Ricardo is a shadow of his former-self. Maddison is only now finding form (over half way through the season). Vardy and Evans are very good for the dressing room when playing - they've both been in and out.
The ones where it's a totally inexplicable situation on Rodgers' part are players like Soyuncu, Amartey (although he's had his best season for us, which shows how bad he used to be) Ndidi, Iheanacho, Barnes, Lookman, Perez, Choudhury, Bertrand - all players who are badly underperforming and should be very coachable, if Rodgers' "player development" mantra is to be believed.
The likes of Thomas, KDH, Daka are not in the frame for proper criticism really. They're doing well given their exposure to the first team and the PL. Albrighton, you can't question his mentality (and Kasper) although both are getting on and perhaps starting to decline output-wise.
This isn't down to Rodgers though. This is just how a football club evolves over time, coupled with the external circumstances the club is facing.
I fervently hope Rodgers is still here next season and I maintain he should be given a fair crack. He's not had that really in his time here with a proper pre season, no dodgy covid-related fixture congestion, AFCON, (he will have a mid-season world cup next winter as well). He needs time. He needs his players and staff to step in all areas. He needs support from us lot. He ought to get it.
The only thing I think he truly cocked up on is by saying Leicester over-achieved (and are over-achieving in the last couple of seasons). That, I think, has sent the wrong message to players and they're listening too much to that hype of "having achieved it in the big time, won the FA Cup and Community Shield etc."
You're entitled to your opinions, as are we all. I just think it's too easy to keep sacking managers. Why not buck the trend and show the world the club is properly run, stable and not the knee-jerk environment that the rest of football is (and that we used to be, of course in the Ranieri, Shakey, Puel days).
Over and out.

Sounds like a lot of the excuses made for Tilly, 2 Peas in the same pod, always need everyone else to do it for them.
You also forgot the one's from Rodgers where it's the fans fault.
The fans make the little lambs on the pitch nervous!
The fans expect too much!
Mustn't forget them beauties from the Coward in the hot seat.

Just a bizarre set of comments. I can't subscribe to them, or your general negativity towards Rodgers, at all. I may even go so far as to say your name is somewhat paradoxical to what your stance appears to be..

Support the Club not the man.
All comments he made by the way, just some of his litany of excuses.

Yep, fair enough TB. No issues there. I think I've probably lost interest in what BR/the players are saying a little bit. A sign of how far we've come in the last few years perhaps and now we're on a bit of a downer this season, it all feels rubbish. Are our expectations too high? To be distinguished from our hopes, of course. Do we expect them to be challenging for top 4. Winning domestic or European trophies... Or do we hope for it?
