Mad if thats true.
Obviously its great news for us but I still cant get my head around the fact that he is still happy to stay in England even though his wife and some of the kids moved back to Spain 3 years ago.
Maybe the strides made with the academy players and the fact that pretty much all players have been signed by him except Sterling and KDB.
Any chance he will ruin his legacy if he stays on too long? Either way its a good thing for the league and maintaining its high standards.
Rumors that Pep will sign a New Deal

Barcelona is my favourite city outside the UK. I love it, could very happily live there.
Re Pep, if he stays it's great for City,, wonderful football and trophies.

Alongside San Francisco, I don't think I've ever been to a city that I was so disappointed with.

I agree with you, found Madrid, Seville and Valencia much better.

I also agree with you. Seville especially. Managed to go to a Betis v Sevilla derby randomly. Amazing atmosphere.

Madrid is a lovely city, Barcelona is great but feels a bit Dublin-y. Las Ramblas feels just as much a tourist rip off as Temple Bar.
Didn't like Dublin at all tbh

Apart from the usual suspects I like New Orleans. Kingston is also amazing. Unless architecture is important in which case both are crap.

The French Quarter in New Orleans is pretty good, the rest is just generic USA.
Glad I went before Katrina, not during or after.

So same age as United and Chelsea, younger than Liverpool, with great youngsters coming through the academy and City need to rebuild?

I love Barcelona but it helps that I have a few close friends there. Often travel up to the Pyrenees or Costa Brava which are both beautiful. Culturally it's also more vibrant that other Spanish cities I think.
Spain has so many beautiful cities but personally I think Barcelona is quite different which is what makes it great.

Haven't been yet, but I have the feeling Sevilla has an electricity about it that I didn't get from Barcelona.
By the way, it was this discussion that made me write the above article.

Sevilla is grate. Highly recommended. Up there in my top three Spanish cities with San Sebastián and Barcelona.
Spring and autumn are great times to visit (summer is tooooo hot), and you can easily combine with visits to Cordoba, Granada, Malaga (underrated) and/or Ronda, for example.

Malaga is underrated, spent a nice couple of days there, Ronda’s worth a day too if it’s on your route
