We need three or four clean sheets to get out of hit.
..............
Well our last 2 games the opposition scored with there first shot on goal both coming in the 2nd half.

Part of the problem is that the chances we present the opposition with aren't difficult ones and the finishes aren't pressurised. You'd have been shocked if either of those chances were missed. And time and time again we give opponents easy goals.

Shaw and Maguire have been a train wreck this season. Both were much better last season, Shaw in particular.
This football club has a permanent black cloud hanging over it. They can't even give us a single ray of sunshine can they?

We’re not asking for much just a win against Boro or Burnley from the best part of 50 efforts on goal

That would have been an easy save for most keepers in the league but De Gea I believe is like statistically the worst keeper in England at saving one on ones as he makes it extremely easy for anyone to score. The Burnley keeper would have dealt with that easily. Its funny De Gea wins so many month awards when he concedes more goals than expected in nearly every game for years. Another game under Ralf the opposition expected goals under 1 and another game we conceded. How he wins player of the months awards for conceding more goals than expected is insane.
I honestly think if I played for Man Utd this season instead of De Gea we would have conceded less as he rarely saves anything of note. People are thinking he is doing well this season as he saved like 30-40 shots rolled to him from 25-30 yards.

Hafi it’s bad enough mentally accepting the likes of Maguire as our Captain without moving onto last months prem player of the month as being our major problem

I remember last year we couldn't keep a clean sheet at home yet we were like ranked 1st or 2nd for expected clean sheets and 20th or so for actual clean sheets. Even something similar happened in 18/19 season. I noticed De Gea rarely ever saves the first shot in a game hence why his clean sheet record at Man Utd is terrible. Remember 16/17 season so many games the opposition scored with there only shot on goal.
Man Utd would probably have 10 more points if we had Henderson or Romero in goal. The reason why Henderson and Romero kept so many clean sheets is they make a crucial save when needed.
Today was perfect example we had gone the whole first half without allowing a shot and 2nd half they have a chance and De Gea makes it an open goal for them.
Also Cavani missing sitters at Newcastle and Burnley could be the blow for us in top 4 race. Even Villa game we should have won but we forgot to defend for a couple of minutes and got done.
Its funny nearly all the games we draw we have higher XG. We could be 8th now.
I don't see us getting top 4 now. If games are that easy to win and we bottle it then what is gonna happen when teams actually outplay us?

Don't worry, you'll get expected top 4.
