Sad news. Bernie was a character and a half. A regular feature at both Filbert Street and The KP.
I heard that he lived in Quorn and used to walk to the ground and back - and he'd also walk to away games at Cov and Forest?? Not sure how true that was.
I vividly remember him walking around grunting and making completely incoherent noises and seemingly talking to himself in some unfathomable language.
But my abiding memory of Bernie was seeing him outside a pub in Blackburn when we played them in the FA Cup, stood in a big pile of horse-shite with a pint in his hand looking like he was in heaven. I think someone even made a t-shirt with a photo on it.
RIP Bernie and Gaaaaarrrrrrghghghghghghghghghghhghgaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrmmmmmmmyyyyy!!!!!!

Sad loss indeed. What a character. He certainly enjoyed his days out supporting his beloved Leicester City!

Sad news indeed - a huge character and a constant part of the match-day experience for so many years.
