Rodgers as usual has reached his shelf life. There's only so far you can get without genuine authenticity as a man.
He's a great coach but i always feel his lack of authenticity as a person catches up with him. See the kind of manufactured nonsense with the envelope etc. People see through him in time.

Aye, same happened with Stephen Glass at Aberdeen.

If we had no money to spend during the window, I don't see how we could afford to pay Brenda off and also pay compensation to Brighton or Southampton. On the other hand, both Ranieri and Puel were sacked in February.

Depends if you belive we had no money or it was the case they just didn't want to give Rodgers any?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe they have had to keep the money back to pay Brendan and Brighton/Southampton/Forest compensation in February?

I just hope we had a clause inserted that entitles us to a % of the compo!

So some people are calling for the head of the man who has delivered two top 5 finishes and an FA Cup!
We've had the worst run of injuries this year that the club has probably ever witnessed. Against Watford in the cup we had only 8 players from our 25 man Premier League Squad available and 2 of those were keepers!
FFS be careful what you wish for. Rodgers has been brilliant for this club and has delivered consistently.
We're Leicester City - not effing Man Utd or Liverpool.
Let's for god sake not get ahead of ourselves.

Would be a mistake to get rid. He is like Leicester's Poch. Clearly a good manager. Has he not done a good job at every club he's been at so far? Except maybe Reading.

I’m not calling for it, I’m saying I’m so close to the middle of the fence its inserted up my backside.
What is concerning is the slide. You can see it when it comes. Rodgers looks like he’s struggled before and turned it around.
All I’m saying is the evidence doesn’t look good when most of your squad are underperforming all at the same time.
If we can’t get Potter or Hassenhuttl then I don’t think a change should be made at least until the summer personally.

Considering the ludicrous defence of Steve Bruce from media, and attacks on fans for wanting his exit I find it shopws how diseased against Newcastle their (what passes for) minds when they look the other way at likes of Benitez treatment at Everton, and Leicester's of Rodgers if this is true. I have no problem with the fans having their own opinions of their own managers - but how the **** is it so different for Newcastle, perpetually in a relegation fight to be ONLY set of fans to be "wrong" ?

Ah Well, we can do it all again next Monday or will it be Friday?

I don't think he'll be sacked unless there is serious threat of relegation, he's one of the highest paid managers in the league so the pay off would be massive.
I'm not happy with him this season, but I would give him the elusive 4th season (if he wants to be here). I think he has enoguh credit in the bank for that.
