On Sunday Wolves return to Molineux to host Leicester City.
Leicester come into the game after a 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday.
Wolves come into the game after a 2-0 win at Tottenham on the same day.

Leicester are not enjoying a good start to 2022 having played 5 games, losing 3 and drawing 2.
Wolves on the other hand have also played 5 games since the start of the year, winning 4 and losing 1.

Wolves are currently in 7th place in the table with 39 points. The Foxes are in 11th place with 27 points.

Leicester have suffered injuries to key players this season giving Brendan Rodgers major selection problems. However, Bruno Lage knows all about playing games with a limited number of players. He also has key players currently returning from long term injuries and has done remarkably well with such a small number of senior players at his disposal.

Another mitigating factor for Leicester’s poor league form is the fact they’re also having to contend with European games in the UAFA Europa Conference League, their latest game against Randers coming just 3 days before their visit to Molineux.

In the previous 6 Premier League games between the two sides Wolves have won 1, Leicester have won 2 and the other 3 were draws. None of the games were won by a margin of more than 1 goal and only a total number of 9 goals were scored in those 6 games, 7 of them in a single game.
In the reverse fixture in August 2021, Leicester ran out winners with a single goal scored by Jamie Vardy.

The game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Premier League and Main Event.

Gem’s prediction: 2-1

Boston picks on Dendoncker again who I thought had a good game again today

Looks like you are in a majority of one again.

I would give the guy credit for his work rate, but compared to Tielimans he is not a top Premier League player and never will be.

Notice Traore only got 9 minutes off the bench for Barca today. Honeymoon over?

I saw this posted on a Spanish football forum yesterday;

Looking at the comments on the leicester forum. They are saying they were so much better than us, and didn't deserve to lose.

Not a mention of us being so much better than them in the first meeting, when we lost to them.

We have been really unlucky against Leicester in several of the previous meetings of the teams - not just this season. This is definite payback for more than one past result

That’s true vinny. Remember that disallowed goal at their place on the first day of var when Boly was pulled up for accidental handball. Then at Molineux a Boly goal was struck off because Nero’s heel was deemed offside by var despite him actually running away from goal

We were overdue a fortunate win against them

Exactly. Yesterdays result proves the old football adage of what goes around comes around

OK. Not about the game. But an interview with MGW. being asked about his form and improvement. and by the end being asked some leading questions about the possibility of staying.

Surely he will be bought back next season.
