Can anyone explain the demise of West Bromwich Albion? It seems bizarre that they are slipping ever further away from their successful near-neighbours, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Their few fans who used to brag on 606 have now all fled, tails between their legs.
Theyβve brought in several dinosaurs as managers recently, and even that tactic has failed.
Can anyone explain?

I sympathize with Albion fans and we would do well to not gloat.
Clubs change ownership with no input from fans. We were lucky at our last change, Albion weren't.
Things can and do change.

Things may change very quickly if China join with Putin to start WWIII and sanctions are bought against them...
Although finances of PL clubs may well be the least of our worries at that stage .....

Agreed.
Now where did I put my SPF 1,000,000, 000, 000 sun cream?

Would be worrying indeed if we dropped Grasshoppers and instead formed an alliance with Shakhtar Donetsk at this stage

I knew Uncle Herbert would turn up again. I detect he's not too happy.

What's even sadder is the demise of their WUMS. What a beautiful thing

What was that phrase that JH always used to end his posts with? Now, how did it go? Oh yes, I remember now......

The WBA fans are moaning again. New manager, but still not happy. Ground almost empty of fans. They're seeing goals at last (albeit both for lowly Swansea), but at least that's some form of entertainment. Bet they wish they still had Pardew.
