Martin Odegaard...

23 year old Martin Odegaard pulled the strings again with our play yesterday & his pressing & work rate is also so prodigious that he even regained possession more times than any other Arsenal player !

A brilliant player - yet unbelievably we had people on here annoyed that we signed this guy for £30m.🤦‍♂️
These people should accept that they just can't recognise talent...

Yes he played well yesterday and has been 7/10 in most games this season, yet we've had people in match threads shiiting on him.

You're right a lot of people have no idea what talent is, they judge players based on stats and stats alone, if a player doesn't score or assist in the game for them he's crap, some people are simply clueless!

Think he needs to add to the output he currently provides but whenever I’ve seen him I’ve been impressed. He has the potential to be a very good player.

He should have scored yesterday. He also looks like a young Gordon Ramsey

He was class yesterday, that dummy one-two with saka was bloody delightful.

Just needs to be more decisive/aggressive in the final third. It'll come.

He has been very good of late. Technically probably our best player

£30m is about right for me. Could be worth double if he gets better

He was excellent. Grown as a player during his time with us and I hope it continues.

I've slaggged him off in the past and will probably get slated for saying it, but his playing style is a lot like Cazorla. Clearly he doesn't have that ambidextrous ability, but the way he plays and moves the balls in tight spaces is exceptional.

Clearly super talented lad who with arsenal has finally found a platform to start realising that huge potential he showed as a teen. Fantastic signing for both him and the club, a perfect match

Was comparing him to Pires/Bergkamp a while ago and tbf it was a bit of hyperbole. Ode lacks aggression and he really needs to be more forceful if he is to provide more assists and goals which the position he plays, demands. We've had a lot of players in the past who look pretty on the ball but without the output we seriously need.

I think Ødegaard is making my point for me pretty well. 😎
