If this is correct it feels like an appointment made by the American owners. Are they now calling the shots at Elland Rd?
Jesse Marsch Set To Be Next Leeds Manager

Think it does him a disservice to suggest that it's just because he's American. Might play a part, but think he's a good fit otherwise. He plays a similar system, but tweaks it to change what I think wasn't working. He's managed two seasons in the CL, and seems to have done well in both. At Salzburg he worked well at developing talented young players, which will fit well with the players we have at the club.
He's a highly rated young coach in the footballing world, with progressive tactics and good man management. Seems like a sound appointment to me.

I admit to knowing nothing about him, but his record and style of play points towards a good appointment on paper. I hope it works for him. The best outcome for the club is that we build on Bielsa's legacy.

I genuinely hope he works out. We need to get out of the hole we were in

Does this mean that we now have to sing "Marsching on Together?"

This is the sort of thing I want to see. Gelhardt and Bate especially (I expect to see plenty of Gelhardt, given the preference for two strikers), but also Summerville and Cresswell, and, with any luck, another shot for Drameh next season.

Look at the passion and physical warmth of this guy. It's the first time I have seen Raphinha smile all season. I like this appointment. And I'm sure the WAGS like it too.
