Really good cup final

It was a very good final. Two evenly matched team.

Three draws between js this season now.

Diaz, we have a mane replacement right there. He now needs to try and convert more often.

It was a good advert for the league cup, in a time where most probably want it binning.

Wonderful game and very evenly matched, could have gone either way and both teams gave a brilliant account of themselves

It probably should be open to lower division clubs. Most PL teams don't need these games and the potential injuries they can bring.

I like it, thats on the clubs. They should be using it to give youngsters time or squad players. I've enjoyed our run in it, even if we lost the final.

Takis done well in it for example, sure hes scored a few. Gordon, Morton, Bradley etc. Tsimikas another, Konate got some time to bed.

As for games Lesta comeback was pretty special.

really the only thing lacking was a 3-3 draw after extra time.

Tuchel is also a great tactician. Both Germen know each other teams very well. Credit to both teams and players. Gave it all but stopped by some outstanding saves from the keepers in regular time. Neither team deserved to lose

There were a lot of offsides for cheslea but I think the cheslea fans want to forget how may scrambles and saves mendy made. At the same time mount missed 4 and to be honest you could name the score on another day and it could be anything.

I have to wonder how many of mount's were actually onside as that lino on the far side looked very slow to keep up with play.

The fact is mendy made several saves, kelleher made several saves and our offside line saved us as chelsea over ran. Chelsea had a major let off due to a big leg behind the line as well.


Overall Both sides need to look at midfield in the summer as kovacic, jorginho and kante are not going to last and keita was not up to it but henderson was but faded away second half.

Kieta had a good game.
