Fatigue isn’t even an excuse when you’re Tottenham Hotspur playing a team 8th in the Championship. No excuses. I had my doubts about Conte but this just confirms my earlier fears. He’s very much in the Jose mould in terms of what needs to do a good job. You get managers like him and Jose that are great at taking great teams and making them ruthlessly addicted to winning but you need a project man like Poch at a club like ours. Simple as that.

We should tear the whole thing up, get rid of Paratici and bring in Potter or ETH. I would say Poch but that ship has sailed unfortunately.

I'd say fatigue is a factor. City away, Burnley away, Leeds away and Boro away in 10 days is a demanding schedule.

It does not excuse the level of performance but against a very energetic Boro, our weakness against the press was exposed again and we didn't have the speed of thought or action or execution to respond.

Middlesborough have just gone away to Barnsley and lost. Please do not give this set of players any excuses.

move on already. easy to look back now and see it was the questionable decision, but have made plenty more since then.

Yes can we get back to playing football with players that don’t treat the ball like a bomb. As Chronic and others have said we lost the game in MF tonight. Conte isn’t immune from criticism either. Playing the 5-2-2-1 against a poor championship side shows he is too rigid in his methods and probably why none of his teams have ever progressed in Europe either.

So back to my earlier point. Why has every manager had our players treating ball like a bomb?!? Answers on a post card please!

You can kiss goodbye to Poch and fair play to him. He was kicked out after 5 amazing years. He’s should just go to United, win a load and stick two fingers up to us. We’ve absolutely no right to think we could get someone like him back. We blew it.

Stop going on about Poch, he would be just as bad with this set of players. He is hardly pulling up trees in France despite having such a massive advantage over the opposition.

Sandy he has a 15 point lead at the top of ligue 1. If anything has been realised with the 4 (one interim) managers that have come since, he worked wonders within the limitations of a club like spurs.

We were lucky to have him. Since all we have seen is teams that treat the ball like a bomb.

Furthermore you would have to go all the way back to 15/16 to find a season where PSG dominated the league more. So please pipe down with the anti Poch rhetoric. It’s boring now.

Belfastspur, using the French League to highlight how good Poch is a mistake. He took over last season and they lost the league. A team with their resources should be walking the league every season.
