Apparently Commons was berated by Lennon in front of his team mates about his weight which prompted Commons to bring Lennon to task for his drinking - apparently he and Thompson have turned up at training drunk a few times - this is what led to the fallout between Lennon and Commons.

I don't think he was trying to get sent off - although it was reckless - and he did look pretty decent considering not had much game time.

I'm sure this could be a baseless rumour but something is going on...

Mr mordor that is exacxtly what a wise manager would have done. That is a point I made in a post earlier. Neil has to be less graphic in his posat match interveiws. The other week he said " I'm not singling anybody out but kelvin has been better". This doesn't wash with players these days.

I know some fellow bears are having a laugh at Dan up front, but sometimes you need to roll the dice.

When Mowbray was wheeled out to discuss his 'chin landings' i despaired. Lennon came in and I enjoyed his honesty but he has to remember to put the team first.
His prognosis smacks of 'Commons has been brought down a peg or two' or worryingly;he now sees a reason to hang him out to dry.

"At least the death threats and bombs have stopped. It's funny how that coincides with poor footballing performances though."

i think it probably has more to do with the string of arrests. Not so easy sending that sort of thing from jail.
