MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
Leeds are unbeaten in their last five league games away to Leicester (W2, D3).
The Whites won 3-1 at the King Power Stadium last season and have the chance to record back-to-back away league victories against the Foxes for the first time in 40 years.
Leicester City
Leicester have dropped seven points from winning positions in their last three home league matches (D2, L1).
Only two teams have failed to win in four consecutive Premier League home games despite leading in each of those fixtures - Norwich did so in five games between December 2019 and January 2020, while Chelsea did so in four from February to April 1996.
Brendan Rodgers' side are vying to win successive top-flight fixtures for the second time this season and can record consecutive clean sheets in the league for the first time in 13 months.
This will be Leicester's 300th Premier League home match.
Harvey Barnes has scored in all three of his top-flight appearances against Leeds - the only players to have netted in four consecutive Premier League matches against the Whites are Alan Shearer (1992 to 1995) and Thierry Henry (2002 to 2004).
Barnes is set to play his 100th Premier League match.
Patson Daka has been involved in six goals in his last six appearances at the King Power Stadium in all competitions, scoring five and assisting one.
Leeds United
Leeds conceded 20 Premier League goals in February, a record for any side in a single month.
They have conceded at least twice in the opening 45 minutes in each of their last five Premier League games, a record by any side in the division.
The Whites have let in 40 goals in their past 12 league matches, including 24 in their last six away fixtures.
If Leeds suffer a fifth consecutive defeat it would be their longest losing streak in the top flight since a six-match sequence between December 2003 and February 2004.
Including caretakers, six of the last seven managers to take charge of Leeds in the Premier League have lost their first game in the competition.
A difficult away trip but one I feel we just might get something from, with Leicester getting Vardy back in the team it only adds to the problems for our struggling defence, but this should be a good chance for JM to show us what he can do
I'm (as ever) optimistic we'll just nick this 1-2 with Raph and Rod looking to impress

That's why I say wait till after the Norwich game because anything less than 4 points from the next 2 is going to heavily weigh against our chances of avoiding the drop.
I'm hanging on to today's much more solid performance after a short period training with JMs new set up as an encouraging springboard for Leeds to take off from.

Shipping 20 goals in February may well be our downfall.

For me the turning point was that Newcastle home defeat even just a draw I think could have stopped the flow of heavy defeats especially Everton that was a shocker and then after that it looked like the dressing room was beginning to question MB's approach and here we are now

Just seen the score, very disappointed. Villa are running riot, just before we play them. Will watch the game back later and see how we did overall.

Typical, Villa find a bit of form just before facing us. Norwich getting tanked as usual but Brentford getting a confidence boost so not helping us. Burnley losing as well. Could do with Spurs beating Everton on Monday and then todays result will not be quite so bad

Watford, Burnley and Norwich are our best bet at survival. I think Everton will have more than enough

Agree Wetherby. Brentford signing Eriksen may end
up saving them. Great decision.

Norwich and Watford will go. Think its between us and Burnley, possibly Brentford.
Burnley face Brentford next and we have Norwich on Sunday

Indeed. Its pretty terrible. I'm so disappointed with the lack of investment. I think JM is the right appointment, but it feels knee kirk and a little late in the day.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is the right appointment or is it knee jerk?
How can you have both?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They left it too late to 'do something' that's what i mean by knee jerk. Ideally they would have added to the squad, kept bielsa and given him players that would make his style of football really work. I.e. sign a Diego Costa, a lingard. Not rely on Tyler Roberts.
Right appointment as.. he seems to have good energy, is motivational and now bielsa isn't there, someone had to replace him .

Why do people insist the club let Bielsa down in the transfer window? It's well documented that the club went to him with names and he turned them down.
I don't want to kick MB but we all knew we needed
help. But MB refused it. He was part of his own
downfall.
