Another long haul trip on what seems a lot of trips down south. A tough one today. Gillingham 3rd from bottom and now 3 points from safety are now making a big effort to stay up. Since then Neil Harris a manager I rate highly was appointed and Gillingham have won 3 drawn 2 from 7 and reduced that gap to 3 points. Bolton have lost the last 2 away and don't do bad weather, soggy pitches or direct teams. Now 8 points from the top 6 I would say at least a draw and win the next 2 home games are minimum to stay in the play off race. Team news. Injured tutte, isgrove,Lee, Sheehan. Gethin Jones is on compassionate leave after the sad loss of his mum. Kachunga is back training but not ready to play. Aimson is expected to play ahead of Jones. The keeper and back 5 pick themselves. Today's conundrum. 2 from mj, Morley, Dempsey. 1 from dapo, sadlier, 2 from Charles, Bodvarsson, Bakayoko.

Charles taken out but the ball breaks kindly for Bodvarsson who's shot saved and bounces to John to tap in at the far post. 2-0 game over. Gillingham looking a thuggish side to me.

3-0 final score. Read elsewhere Dempsey missed through injury and illness, baptiste compassionate leave so the 18 match day squad was all we had.

Who starts on Tuesday ? Will Bod be up to it after yesterdays shift.
At home and different opposition what shall we do, who should we pick to start the game and who will we finish with.

If we only have 18 players to choose from then it's difficult. Guess unchanged side. Amaechi isn't getting a chance at all. Strange they extended his loan with the other attacking signings.

despite the misses by Charles, I'm sure he will do the business.
I'm looking forward to stuffing several goals down the neck of the Morecambe supporters. With their fan base, I wonder how many they will bring with them. It's fairly local but I don't think it will be many.
