More important than ever to keep our young

talented players at Chelsea.

So with the almost inevitable outcome that the next owners of Chelsea will be more frugal than the incumbent Roman we won't be able to keep players like Rudiger but we must keep our incredible core group of young players that we are so fortunate to have.

There is enough of them at the club to build a formidable team around, even under a more frugal regime.

If we lose them then we will struggle to continue as a European and domestic force in football.

So what ? The summer transfer window is a long way off opening anyway

---

I'd be more concerned whether or not the club still exists come the summer. The transfer window is the least of your worries.

Rubbish

As predicted (outside the SSN and Talksport hysteria) the government are open to amending Chelsea's Licence to operate to allow the sale to take place.

Trivago sticking with Chelsea for time being, maybe Nike too.

And we may be able to sell home tickets but only 3 Prem games and 27000 tickets left to sell anyway

Sorry to disappoint you

If its true regarding all the restrictions being put in place add to that all your accounts being frozen will you last a few weeks though.

Fake news. Stop reading the Sun

It is standard to check who has access to accounts in this case.

Chelsea’s bank accounts are not suspended. Money can be spent on costs cleared by the licenses issued yesterday. Temporary suspension of credit cards though as club/provider work out use under license regulations.

Well this originated from your point that we can't sign anyone even though the summer transfer window still doesn't open for many months.

And yes the club will definitely still exist this summer under new ownership with all restrictions already lifted. Don't worry about that.

The big news of the last few hours is very positive that Roman has fully agreed to allow the club to be sold even though he'll now stand to earn nothing out of it. An incredible gesture from a man who clearly loves the club.

So the path is now wide open and clear for a new owner to take over the club imminently. Meaning that business will resume as usual at the club and all restrictions will be lifted.

Sorry if that disappoints certain opposition fans who were getting very excited about the thought of Chelsea falling apart or even going into administration. It's not going to happen.

Doesnt matter, the club will still be bought, but just for a £1 again. Those of you imaging the death of Chelsea are frankly clueless.

However, i concede how strong we will be in the future is very uncertain.

I love listening to Jase Cundy on Talksport personally!

Quad - are you in 'Memories of going to Chelsea in the 70s' or Chelsea Old Skool?

If there is a silver lining in this, it would be that a week ago I was worried about Broja getting sold off to the highest bidder, and Billy Gilmour and Connor Gallagher not making the squad again next season.

After the events of the last week, I see the chances of that not happening, exponentially improving!

@Kingcanners

I’m calling on the British Government to allow a new owner to takeover ASAP so the football club gets on with being a centre of excellence for young black footballers.
