Pogba was okay but gave the ball away a lot

Fred, Sancho and CR7 were superb today.

Fred was his usual self at times in defensive areas but overall, carrying the ball, transitioning from defense to attack was brilliant.

Sancho is improving in every game. He is fantastic when we move the ball with pace, his decision making in the last 3rd has improved lot and he combined so effectively with CR7. Will only get better especially with better players around him.

CR7? I really don't know what changed with him. Main difference was the number of shots on goal, 8 in total, 3 goals. The first was a cracker, but my favourite was the winner, very much a statement goal.

If only we could defend better from CM and defence. If only we could use the ball with more intelligence especially in defensive areas.

What a thrilling finale and for once we walked away happy. Long may it continue!

Definitely ebbed and flowed, it was end to end too so you couldn't keep your eyes off.

Made it a good game because there were so many errors from both sides.

DDG - 5 didn't have much to do (much as G Nev made it sound like they were dominant).
Dalot - 5 might have been 6 but gave away the ball cheaply in the last minute. Madness
Varane- 6 covered pretty well, didn't make any noticeable errors.
Maguire - 5 thought he did okay but own goal automatically takes a point off, unfortunate as it was
Telles - 5 played pretty well but criminal handball. Seen Shaw do that a few times too. Seems to be a curse in that position.
Matic - 5 was he on the pitch?
Fred - 8 excellent today
Pogba - 5 some decent passes but struggled when pressed, as is always the case because he takes too many touches.
Sancho. - 7 great first half, at the heart of all of our attacks. Faded a bit second half, as has tended to be the case. But still created a couple of opportunities.
Ronaldo - 10 hattrick. Has to be a 10. Was unlucky not to score on one or two other occasions too.
Rashford - 4 not good. Not good at all. Not sure if it's outright laziness or just his confidence is so low he's afraid to get involved and is hiding. Either way, he isn't contributing enough going in either direction.

Ronnie, Fred, Sancho and Telles were all excellent today.

Rashford and Pogba. Both complete shed.

Weird seeing Pogba bald after changing his haircut every week for the last 5 years. Perhaps that's why he was so poor today?

Telles was not excellent, he effed up for the pen inexplicably sticking his arm out, made a number of mistakes defensively too.

Going forward was decent, some very good deliveries especially for our 3rd.

Dalot - 3 Not an EPL level defender.
Varane- 6 Showing he's slowly adapting
Maguire - 7 best defender on the pitch by a mile - as usual.
Telles - 4 Not an EPL level defender.
Matic - 6 Solid as usual - more reliable and useful than Mctominay will ever be.
Fred - 8 vying with someone else (guess who) for MoM
Pogba - 6 not his best but pretty good.
Sancho. - 7.5 he looked pretty scary out there - looks like he could be the real deal
Ronaldo - 8.25

subs:
Rashford - 2 a 'usual' performance from him - not as good as the plebs pretended he was - which surprised me a bit, as he is usually only useful as a sub. Maybe even that is now beyond him. Still he's better than Lingard and that seems to mean a lot at the club

But what of the GK rating?

Maguire was horrible and not just the og and Pogba was slow and uninterested. Not a great team Performance but these two looked worse than anyone. Decent game to watch though.
