Chelsea, City and Newcastle fans are all the same. None of them give a feck about what their owners have or may have done in the past so long as they win stuff or in the case of Newcastle going to win stuff.

The PL is party to blame in all this. They have allowed these questionable takeovers to go through. They should never have allowed the Glazer takeover to go through either. To place a debt free club in debt of 500m of debt should never have been allowed to happen.

The Premier League have a lot to answer for.

What point is he making exactly?

Chelsea fans don't love the fact that a pundit on tv is seemingly enjoying their demise, and encouraging other big clubs to take their coach etc. Carragher didn't like the stick he got about it.

Carragher responds by making out that Chelsea are a horrible club, and deserve it because they signed a few players, and approached coaches... something that all football clubs do, especially the richer ones.

It was about Tuchel.

Some chelsea fans were having a go at the notion of other clubs taking advantage of the situation and prizing Tuchel away.

Carra is saying that this is what Chelsea did post-Abramovic by taking advantage of other clubs that didn’t have the same financial backing.
