Pepp, Fergie, Klopp

Wouldn't it have been a great league if they had all been at the same time. .
We will never know how it would have gone, but I suspect they would have driven each other on and cleaned up every year between them

City bailed out yet again by another nonsense penalty. I’ve never, ever seen a team get gifted as many soft penalties as they do when they’re not winning a game.

Take Fergie, Wegner, pep, klopp and even Mourinho and give them the exact same money to build their teams and I think we might be surprised at the outcome.
Imo klopp and Wegner would lead the pack with toxic mo bringing up the rear

Mourinho and Pep are money managers.

Fergie and Klopp build teams.

I’m sure they’ve been awarded more than 15 penalties this season. If ever they’re not winning it just seems like they’re gifted penalty after penalty. Southampton totally robbed.

Great subject from the OP

Think Jose is getting little credit here. I hate the man but lets not forget he started the Trend when he got 95 points in the 2004/05 season. At his peak with all the Financial backing If I had to choose Jose would beat all these managers and I will tell you why. He has that good mix of being a good man manager whilst being tactically brilliant whereas Fergie is that Master of man management but tactically probably the weakest.

I dont think Pep, Klopp or Wenger would feature highly as I just think their stubbornness and need to stick to their values and principles would humstrung them whereas Jose and Fergie are more adaptable and street smart. Thats just me.

My order would be:
1. Jose
2. Fergie
3. Pep/Klopp/Wenger

Cant split the final 3. I just think Pep is the better coach of all of them. Klopp is like a better Wenger but that could be recent bias because Wenger at his peak was amazing and built better team and developed better players in my opinion.

These manager comparisons are not easy. Best thing is to compare them to their strengths. Coach, Man manager, Youth development etc

I guess so, but it sure doesn’t feel like that when his side are the only one to bottle it on an 8 fold.

Financial backing is more the exception rather than the rule, without which Jose wouldn't be able to compete with Pochettino leave alone the others.
