Newcastle 1 - 1 Watford
Neither team in particular good form, was a bit of a slog, despite having a very good xi Newcastle look a bit out of sorts but desperate for a win somewhere, whilst Watford are getting there they seem to be lacking just a bit of high quality they need to start climbing the table, they do have a very good striker in Nunez which will always give them a chance of goals.
Son(Diaz), 17
Nunez(Damsgaard), 45+2
MOTM - Remiro
Brentford 2 - 2 Liverpool
Two very talented young sides going toe to toe, neither team dominant for any length of time with both having some good spells, cracking goals and a terrific game for the fans of both sides
Broja(Odegaard), 6, Odegaard(67)
Icardi(Neto), 17, Botman(Doku), 64
MOTM - Odegaard

Fixture 13 - 20th 12pm
Wolverhampton v Leeds Utd
Arsenal v Chelsea
Clash of the two of the league’s big guns here at the library today, Arsenal 3rd in the league and desperately trying to keep pace with the top-two, Chelsea floundering down in fifth and embarrassingly behind their feeder team Man City. Both managers going with a 4-3-3 and with the quality of players on display it got a bit bogged down at times with neither side hoping to exert the dominance they’d have liked. I think both defences have their strengths and weaknesses, Chelsea I think would run the midfield (close but in their favour) and they have the firepower to deal a lot of damage. Home adv gives the gunners a big boost though.
Arsenal 2-3 Chelsea
Dybala (Jota) Jota (Guimaraes)
Haaland x2 (Bellingham, Mbappe) Ferran (Camavinga)
MOTM – Haaland

Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City
Last seasons (double?) winners vs this years surprise package, TAB always sets his side out nicely, and the acquisition of Verratti to play alongside Fabinho gives him a great platform in the engine room. A solid defence and a strike-force that’s up there with the very best.
City have improved the first XI a lot, Both Cb’s are a good solid defenders, the FB’s are decent enough, I like the midfield balance but it feels like its just missing something special. The attack is good and full of pace.
Just feel this game is won/lost in the engine and Spurs have just too much for City
Spurs 2-1 City
Messi (KDB) Havertz (KDB)
Schick (Sane)
MOTM – KDB
Red Card – Jadon Sancho

Leicester City v Manchester Utd
Top of the table juggernauts Lesta taking on man utd in the evening kick off, this games always going to be a struggle for Nadz without giving away home adv and form slots.
I like Rof’s high energy 4-2-3-1. I think he’s right to go this way especially with Nadz traditionally sitting deep and inviting the pressure on to himself in the opening 20 mins. Nadz change of system to the midfield diamond works a treat here, it still exposes his weakness on the flanks but it does allow him a foothold in the centre to try and hang in the game.
I think that whilst United could hold out for long periods and with Scamacca a very good young target man to be a spring board, eventually the pressure would break and Leicester get through, the thing then is do flood gates open as United try and get back in?
Leicester 3-1 Man Utd
Benzema x3 (Gnabry, Neymar, Goretzka)
Martinelli (Scamacca)
MOTM - Benzema

Wolves 3 - 2 Leeds
Vlahovic(Barella), 19, Alonso, 54, Vlahovic(Griezmann), 72
Kane(Digne), 51, Zaha(Foden), 82
Both teams opting for 3 at the back, I do think the home team are slightly stronger in that department, nice front lines, Vlahovic will get the better of Maguire and his double showed Maguire's weaknesses, Barella the best midfielder on the park today was cool on the ball and most went through him. Lubo has a nice team, but defensively need improving (imo) whereas Wolves have a good mix and no real glaring weakness.
MOTM - Barella
